Breathe easy: Oxygen refill sites now available

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — One resource that has become painfully scarce in Buncombe County since the landing of Hurricane Helene last week is oxygen.

Buncombe County residents that require medical oxygen via oxygen tanks have had to scramble to find it in the aftermath of the storm.

However, during the daily 11 a.m. public update yesterday, Oct. 7, Buncombe County officials released a list of sites that are open and available to refill oxygen tanks.

The following locations were on the list:
