ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — The Indian street food restaurant Dilbar announced it was closing today on its social media feed.
Dilbar announced it would be shutting its doors around 4 p.m. today, Jan. 24, on its Instagram page.
The Indian restaurant, which opened its doors in 2022, wrote in the post that because of “insinuating circumstances, we will no longer be operating Dilbar.”
“We want to Thank Asheville for the outpouring support over the years,” the post continued. “We are truly gracious to have been able to operate in such a wonderful community.”
Dilbar was located on Biltmore Avenue in the heart of downtown Asheville. The storefront was right across from the Asheville Art Museum.
