ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — The first winner of the Asheville Downtown Association’s weekly “Shop Small, Win Big” holiday shopping campaign has been announced. Duncan & York Modern Market took home $500, an amount also awarded to their winning shopper, Paul Stroebel.

“Shop Small, Win Big” runs four weeks in total, giving downtown shoppers three more chances to win.

Entry is simple: If you spend $25 or more at a downtown retail business, upload your receipt here to be entered into the weekly drawing. Every Monday, the ADA will select one shopper and the business where they made their purchase, awarding each $500.

The win for Duncan & York coincides with their Annual Customer Appreciation Event, a 20% sale on all inventory from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Dec. 3.

“When you spend $100 or more you’ll receive a goody bag valued at over $200,” Duncan & York teased in a Facebook post. “And… one lucky shopper will take home a pair of diamond earrings!”
