HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Jeffrey Todd Queen, 33, was arrested by the Henderson County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force with assistance from the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation following an investigation into possession and distribution of child sex abuse material.

Queen was booked into Henderson County Detention Center on Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2026, and faces 10 counts of third-degree exploitation of a minor and 10 counts of second-degree exploitation of a minor. He was arrested without incident.

In a press release, HCSO cited North Carolina General Statute 14-190.17A, which defines third-degree exploitation of a minor as the knowing possession of a sex doll or other material that depicts a minor engaging in sexual activity.

HCSO also shared N.C. General Statute 14-190.17, which defines second-degree exploitation of a minor as knowingly recording, filming, photographing, developing or duplicating a visual representation of a minor engaged in sexual activity, as well as distributing, selling, exhibiting or otherwise exchanging visual representations of a minor engaging in sexual activity.

“This incident is part of an on-going investigation, and no other information will be released at this time,” HCSO said. “In a court of law all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.”

HCSO Sheriff Lowell Griffin and HPD Chief Blair Myhand thanked local and state partners for their assistance with the investigation.

“We encourage anyone with additional information regarding Jeffrey Todd Queen, to contact our office or use the ‘submit a tip’ feature available on our mobile app,” HCSO said.
