HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — The 2025 North Carolina Apple Festival returns to downtown Hendersonville from Friday, Aug. 29, through Monday, Sept. 1, celebrating the region’s apple-growing heritage with food, entertainment, and family-friendly activities.

The festival draws more than 250,000 visitors each year, organizers said, offering a mix of live music, a street fair, craft vendors, and the annual parade.

Street Fair Hours:

  • Friday, Aug. 29: 10 a.m.-9:30 p.m.
  • Saturday–Sunday, Aug. 30-31: 10 a.m.-9:30 p.m.
  • Monday, Sept. 1: 10 a.m. until the parade ends

Entertainment, the Family Fun Zone, and food vendors will operate until 9:30 p.m. Friday through Sunday. Most craft vendors will close at 8 p.m. on those days.

Festival organizers encourage visitors to check the event website to plan their visit, explore volunteer and sponsorship opportunities, and see a full schedule of activities.
