Plant party: Asheville Dispensary and Plant Bar plan October block party

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Asheville Dispensary and Plant Bar are officially celebrating the grand opening of their second location with a South Slope block party later this month.

The celebration will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11 at 32 Banks Ave.

Plan for the Plant Bar party

The Plant Bar block party will feature three different live music stages, food trucks, giveaways and tarot card readings, as well as the dispensary’s signature coffee, tea and zero-proof cocktails.

Jungle Room

  • 12:30 p.m. – BunsenBurner
  • 3 p.m. – DJ Beau Cephus
  • 6 p.m. – Captain EZ

Patio Stage

  • 1:30 p.m. – Bear Creek Stings Bandits
  • 3:45 p.m. – Vibe Street

NightShade Lounge

  • 10:30 p.m. – Peri Meters
  • 11:30 p.m. – Rickii Rain
  • 12:30 a.m. – Nichole G

Tarot readings will be held in the NightShade Lounge, a new non-alcoholic extension of Plant Bar, from 1-6 p.m.

“Experience the ultimate day of music, food, community and good vibes,” Plant Bar wrote in a press release. “Get ready to dance, eat, drink and be merry while mingling with friends and neighbors and celebrate a fresh and groovy new spot to chill, connect and vibe together!”
