ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — As Western North Carolina comes together to rebuild and recover from the impact of Tropical Storm Helene, now is the time to connect with experts, get advice and explore resources for your home.

The WNC Build and Remodel Expo, presented by Cason Builders Supply and produced by the Builders Association of the Blue Ridge Mountains, will be the perfect place to find the help you need.

The expo is set for Saturday, March 22 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, March 23 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the WNC Agricultural Center. The event will be a one-stop destination for you whether you are rebuilding, remodeling or simply looking for ideas for your home.

What to expect

  • Showcase of products and services: Discover the latest offerings from top-tier vendors to help you create the home of your dreams, whether you want to bring your kitchen to life, create a distinctive outdoor space or figure out how to build an addition to your home. The Expo’s exhibits will feature everything from decorative concrete by Cura Concrete to unique flooring from WNC FCI Floors to solar energy solutions from Sugar Hollow Solar.
Expert-led seminars: Learn from building and remodeling professionals ready to guide you with practical tips and innovative ideas. Among the topics: solving root causes of pests, structural cracks and mold; and learning inventive ways to make the best use of your home’s storage space.
Interactive kids’ activities: Fun for the whole family while you explore the Expo. Among the activities – a station where the Lowe’s team will help kids build their own toolboxes as a way to get familiar with using tools. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to say hi to Mr. Moon, the beloved mascot of the Asheville Tourists on Sunday from 1 to 2 p.m.
Makers market: Local artisans like Wildfire Ceramics (items like mugs and figurines) will have products on display that can help make your house a home.

For people navigating the rebuilding process, planning a remodel, or simply looking for fresh ideas, the WNC Build and Remodel Expo will be the place to be.
