Santa Claus for a cause: Support the YMCA at ‘Jingle and Mingle’ event

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Next weekend, Embassy Suites Asheville will host Santa and Mrs. Clause at a free community celebration in partnership with the YMCA of Western North Carolina.

The event, “Jingle and Mingle with the Clauses,” will be held from noon to 3 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 13 at Embassy Suites by Hilton Asheville Downtown, 192 Haywood St.

Cookies, crafts and Santa Claus

At the Embassy Suites event, families are invited to enjoy festive beverages, a cookie bar and a craft station, produced in partnership with the YMCA of WNC.

Kids will be able to write letters directly to the North Pole at a letter writing station before meeting Santa and Mrs. Claus themselves in a professional family photo op.

While admission to the event is free, there will be also be a holiday raffle, with a portion of the proceeds going to support the Y.
