ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Are you 65 or older? Permanently disabled? Having trouble paying your property taxes? You may be eligible for property tax relief through a North Carolina program.
State law provides tax assistance for low-income seniors, disabled homeowners and disabled veterans — or their unmarried surviving spouses.
Property owners must apply for the Property Tax Exclusion programs before June 1.
