ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — This weekend, UNC Asheville students will host an art and ceramics sale benefitting the Department of Art & Art History at the university.

The Fall 2025 Student Art & Ceramics Sale will be held from 4-8 p.m., Friday, Nov. 21 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 22 inside the S. Tucker Cooke Gallery at Owen Hall on UNC Asheville campus. The event is free and open to the public. A portion of all sale proceeds will go to support the Department of Art & Art History.

All kinds of artwork, including decorative and functional ceramics, will be on sale at the event, which is free and open to the public. The sale is held twice a year – once a semester – at UNC Asheville and “showcases the talent of student artists and provides visitors the opportunity to purchase locally made art while supporting the Department of Art and Art History,” according to the event website.

Payment for artwork can be made by cash, check or card. Visitors who wish to park on UNC Asheville campus must purchase a visitor parking pass, available at unca.aimsparking.com.
