Voting opens for 2025 Best of Asheville awards

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Public voting is now underway for the 2025 Best of Asheville awards, giving residents a chance to recognize their favorite businesses, organizations and community leaders across more than 200 categories.

The contest is presented by Asheville Media Group in partnership with Lusso Realty. Categories range from food and drink to retail, health care, education, arts, nonprofits and more.

Voting opened Tuesday, June 18, and will remain open through 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2. Voters can submit one ballot per day at BestOfAVL.com.

“Being named Best of Asheville means a lot to local businesses,” said Shannon Steele, marketing director at Asheville Media Group. “It’s not just recognition – it’s a badge of community pride and a powerful show of public support.”

Winners will be announced this fall and featured across Asheville Media Group’s platforms, including Mix 96.5, 105.9 The Mountain, Rewind 100.3, 98.1 The River and La Pantera 97.3.
