Woman charged with stealing truck from Fletcher warehouse

FLETCHER, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Fletcher police say a suspect is in custody after stealing a truck from a town-owned warehouse.

The theft occurred Nov. 22, when a warehouse owned by the town of Fletcher was broken into and a truck was taken. Authorities say the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office recovered the vehicle after responding to an unrelated call and noticing the stolen truck at a residence.

April Dattler has been charged with breaking and entering a building, breaking and entering a motor vehicle, felony larceny, larceny of a motor vehicle and financial card theft. She is being held at the Henderson County Detention Center without bond.
